It’s Day 4 of FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week and amid many intriguing and colourful parades, designer Punit Balana showcased his slew of ethnic ensembles with modern twists. The designer unveiled his ‘Lakshmi’ collection and brought out lots of patterns in sarees, kurtas, shararas, and lehengas.
Actress Janhvi Kapoor is the showstopper and she walked the ramp in an exquisite silk red lehenga. The actress took everyone to an ethnic wonderland where she reigned as a resplendent princess. She looked regal and stylish in a strappy cropped blouse with its hem cut into a V and dolis attached at the back. The heavy gold embroidery in horizontal patterns brings in the modern touch.
The blouse was paired with a high-waist skirt in matching embroidery work and misc intricate embellishments. The border of the skirt adds the bling and Janhvi paired the look with a matching satin dupatta. The actress’s hair was left down in waves and she opted for red eye shadow.
Jnahvi accessorized the look with grand jewellery such as wide bangles and studded earrings and completed the look with peep-toe heels. Overall, the styling adds a romantic flair to the entire look.
