Varun Tej-starrer Ghani’s pre-release event was held at Vizag last night and it was a grand success with the attendance of Icon Star Allu Arjun. During his speech, Varun Tej mentioned that Pawan Kalyan’s Thammudu has always been an inspiration for him. “I saw Kalyan Babayi’s Thammudu as a child and I loved it immensely. After becoming hero, I wondered why not many sports films are not coming up. Me and director Kiran had discussed and came up with Ghani. We feel Ghani would be on par with Thammudu. Hope you all like it. Thanks to Kalyan Babayi. If he wouldn’t had done Thammudu, may be Ghani wouldn’t have happened.”
“Chiranjeevi Garu called me and wished the entire cast and crew of Ghani. Peddananna is a huge support. He is an inspiration to everyone. I’m glad we have his wishes,” Varun Tej added.
Varun Tej thanked the Vizag people for the love they showered. He said he is celebrating Ugadi with Vizagites. Varun promised that Ghani will be worth the money. “I thank everyone who is associated with this film. I can’t thank enough producers Allu Bobby and Siddu Mudda.
