Adheera in KGF reminded me of Khalnayak: Sanjay Dutt

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has played the role of antagonist Adheera in the upcoming action epic KGF Chapter: 2. Dutt’s inclusion has further raised the anticipation around KGF 2. The actor said that it is a very challenging role to play but director Prashanth Neel and producers made him feel so comfortable that he pulled it off with ease.

Speaking in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Sanjay Dutt said that he used to wear armour of around 25 kilos every day while shooting for this movie. He said it was a bit difficult to shoot the film due to his health issues but he managed to do it with the prayers and support of his fans.

Dutt went on to add that Adheera reminds him of his character in the classic film Khalnayak. He says that Adheera is an unpredictable character who wants to reclaim his kingdom.

The actor stated that he enjoyed shooting fight sequences with the film’s lead hero Yash.

The Munnabhai actor said that it is wrong to classify a film as a Kannada movie or a South movie. He said that KGF is not even a pan-India film but a ‘Hindustani’ movie.

KGF 2 is gearing up for a massive release across the globe on April 14.
