While other star heroes of Tollywood are eager to make pan-India films and gain pan-India stardom, Superstar Mahesh Babu is sticking to the plan of doing only Telugu films.
Recently, Mahesh attended an app launch event in Hyderabad. At the press meet, he was asked about his Bollywood debut by a reporter.
Answering her, Mahesh said, “Since you are coming from Bombay, I would like to tell you that there is no need for me to do a Hindi film right now. My films get released all over the world in Telugu and I am happy with that. As of now, I am happy doing only Telugu films.”
This is indeed a strong statement by Mahesh and it is good to see him sticking to Telugu cinema and not craving for pan-India stardom.
His film with SS Rajamouli will be Mahesh’s first pan-India release. It is expected to hit the screens either in 2024 or 2025.
As of now, Mahesh is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which is all set to hit the screens on May 12.
