In recent times, Megastar Chiranjeevi never watched a film in advance but kept his review on Twitter a couple of days past the release. However, he stated that he watched Mishan Impossible in advance and articulated that he really liked it. Similarly, Allu Arjun stated that he watched Ghani already and contracted his brother for making such an interesting film. He too stated that the film will be liked by all. But we know the result of these movies.
This is now leading to a belief that both Chiranjeevi and Allu Arjun are going for a lot of ‘mohamatam’ these days, and promoting some films at the expense of their image. From now onwards, if these two reveal at a pre-release event that they really liked a particular film after watching it before the release, then the audience might read into the lines, interpreting that those films are actually not impressive.
Well, with the two being iconic torch bearers of Tollywood maybe they should stop giving false impressions about the films they have already watched. Otherwise, it will create a dent in their image.
