Kalavathi Reel Behind Sitara’s ‘Penny’

A few weeks ago, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s daughter Sitara made her first music video debut for Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s special song titled, Penny. The father-daughter duo dance took fans into a frenzy and we can imagine how proud Mahesh and Namrata would have felt.

In one of her latest interactions, Namrata unveils that it was Thaman who came up with the idea of having Sitara in Penny’s song. Sitara often leaves netizens in awe with her beautiful dance reels and Thaman, who happened to see one of her reels on Kalavathi, opened up about his idea to Mahesh.

Namrata said that Mahesh, one day, shared the same with her and Sitara during their dinner time. ”Sitara jumped and said, ‘Nana it will be fun…I would love to do it,” said Namrata. However, the parents were also equally nervous because it was their darling daughter’s first professional attempt. “I think it worked out just amazing. Sitara was phenomenal, all set and focused,” quoted Namrata.

Sitara’s discipline and determination in matching dance moves with her father were vividly seen and Namrata said that she surprised her and Mahesh effortlessly. Due to her fondness for dancing, Sitara released a new reel every other day and entertained her followers. In fact, a few days ago, she also performed her first Kuchipudi dance recital on the occasion of Shri Ram Navami.

Talking about her classical dancing, Namrata said that Sitara has been learning classical dancing since the age of 5 and has reached the stage where she can do recitals now. “She is very tuned into that type of dance form also,” Namrata added. For the unversed, Sitara is multitalented, who can paint, underwater swim, dance, and can pose like a supermodel too.
