With high hopes of giving exclusive ‘Telugu’ entertainment to Telugu audiences, mega-producer Allu Arvind has come up with ‘AHA’ to capture the OTT market. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has hit him hard we must say as the supply chain link of content creation got hit badly.
Though the producer came up with some original stuff they haven’t got him the required attention. And now, Aravind is not giving green signal to whatever story that comes their way but actually looking forward for solid scripts. In order to bring that strength to content, they are busy buying some novels and stories from other writers, and they will be made into a series now.
Journalist and writer Khadeer Babu’s short stories are now turning into an AHA web series, which are being directed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa movie fame. At the same time, they are said to be buying few more novels in order to be made into web series which are written by prominent Telugu writers.
On the other hand, producer Anil Sunkara is making a series based on novelist Madhubabu’s Shadow series of stories. They say that this is also being sold to Aha only but the producer also had Zee5 in the offing.
