After the monumental success of Pushpa: The Rise, people from across the nation fell for its trendy songs, composed by DSP. And now, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is gearing up to commence shooting for the Farhad Samji directed Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, has got this ace composer on board for the film.
KEKD has completed all the pre-production process for the film and will soon begin shooting in Panvel. Very soon, the cast and crew will also be announced. While the cast is led by three principal characters – Salman Khan, Venkatesh, and Pooja Hegde – a big ensemble is expected to come on board the film. However, the reports come in that the actor has got Devi Sri Prasad on board for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
It is no secret that both Salman and DSP share a good rapport ever since the latter delivered a chartbuster Dhinka Chika in 2011. The duo is now all set to get back on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and as per sources, DSP also commenced some tunes for the album.
However, there will be multiple composers working on the music of KEKD, with DSP leading it from the front. This is because the makers want to get the right tunes for the cross-cultural world. The film is a family entertainer and will have both North and South stars. and is expected to have action, drama, and comedy. It will be released in December 2022.
V Manikandan, who has worked with Shankar in films like Anniyan, is doing the cinematography for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The movie is being produced by Salman Khan under his banner, Salman Khan Films.
