Will This Assistant Of Sukumar Stand Out?

Other day we have seen the launch of producer Dil Raju’s nephew Ashish Reddy’s new movie “Selfish” under the direction of newcomer Kasi Vishal. And for the unknown, this director is none but a former associate of creative filmmaker Sukumar and has been assisting him for the last 5 years. Here comes an interesting snippet now.

Amongst all the star directors we have in Tollywood, it is the associates of Sukumar who have actually found their foot to direct a movie. Already we have seen the likes of Buchi Babu (Uppena fame), Suryapratap Palnati (Current Theega fame), Jakka Hariprasad (Darsakudu), Vema Reddy (Chakkiligintha) and others have got launched as directors.

While Buchi Babu is the only to make a grand and rousing debut amongst them, others are still struggling. And now that Kasi Vishal is coming up with a movie, we have to see how this assistant of Sukumar actually fares.

So far in Tollywood, associates of the likes of Trivikram, Rajamouli and Boyapati Sreenu haven’t created a mark with their movies. In the good olden days, associates of Dasari and other directors clicked big time though.
