RCB To Bring More Collections For KGF!

KGF Chapter 2 is having a sensational run at the box office in both domestic and international arenas. The film already collected more than Rs. 500 crores in just four days of its release.

Still, the makers are promoting the film and trying to get it the maximum attention. The film’s production house Hombale Films collaborated with the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore for promotions.

Recently, KGF 2’s special screening was held for RCB players and staff. Last night, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon attended the game between RCB and Lucknow Super Giants. They are seen wearing RCB jerseys.

Collaborating with an IPL team is a great idea. It gives international exposure to the film. KGF makers succeeded in implementing this idea.

Even in Telugu, we had RRR’s release during the IPL season. But the makers of RRR didn’t tie up with Hyderabad’s franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad. Acharya is the next Telugu biggie that is gearing up for the release.

Even the makers of that film are not trying to collaborate with SRH for promotions. It is high time for the Telugu filmmakers to follow the KGF formula and get wider exposure for their films.

In Tamil, Beast released during the IPL season and the film also failed in using the tournament for the promotions.
