Among the Bollywood directors, Rohit Shetty is probably the only out and out commercial director. His favourite genre is cop dramas and with ‘Singham’ series and ‘Simba’ he created larger than life cop-action entertainers. Now this director is venturing into the digital medium but the genre hasn’t changed.
Rohit Shetty is making a web-series and he promises to be bigger than ever. Titled ‘Indian Police Force,’ a making video is also unveiled on this occasion. This video gives a glimpse of behind the scenes i.e, from assembling massive sets, SUVs (trademark in his films) and lastly the guns.
Sidharth Malhotra will be starring in ‘Indian Police Force’ and it is set against the backdrop of New Delhi. The shooting is in progress and by year end, the web-series will be available for streaming.
Amazon Prime owned the rights of the web-series and this is a first indie cop action drama that is going to be massive.
