Malayalam Megastar Mammootty scored a super hit with his recent release Bheeshma Parvam. After that gangster drama, Mammootty is all set to come up with an investigative thriller named CBI 5 The Brain. The trailer of this film is now out on the internet.
CBI 5 is the fifth film of the CBI franchise, which was started way back in 1988. 15 years after the release of the last CBI film, the new part is getting ready for the release now.
Mammootty plays the role of CBI officer Sethurama Iyer in the franchise. This time, he is back to investigate the mystery behind a suicide case.
CBI 5 features Renji Panicker, Sai Kumar, Jagathy Sreekumar, Soubin Shahir, Mukesh, Ramesh Pisharadi, Anoop Menon and Dileesh Pothen in the other pivotal roles.
CBI 5 was written by SN Swamy. K. Madhu has directed the project. Swargachitra Appachan produced the project under the banner of Saina Movies. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music for it.
CBI 5 will hit the screens on May 1, 2022.
