Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much awaited film ‘Acharya’ is getting a grand release this Friday. But the online booking hasn’t opened yet because the team of ‘Acharya’ placed a request before the Telugu state governments for a hike in ticket prices and also for an additional show.
In a relief, the Telangana government has permitted both the requests i.e, ticket hike and extra show and a G.O. regarding the same was issued by the Home Department. The hike in ticket prices is applicable from April 29th to May 5th and the increased amount on ticket (Single entry) is Rs 50 for multiplexes while for single screen theatres with air-condition, it is Rs 30.
This means the ticket prices would be Rs 354 and Rs 210 in multiplexes and single screen theatres respectively. But from May 6th, the ticket prices will be back to usual rates i.e, Rs 295 in multiplexes and Rs 175 in single screen theatres.
Also the show timings are going to begin from 7 AM and the last show will be at 1 AM for the first week. These two important measures will certainly help ‘Acharya’ to register some stunning numbers and if the film manages a good talk, Chiru might smash a few records.
On the other hand, the team of ‘Acharya’ is awaiting for the similar approvals from AP government.
