Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ underperformed at the box office on its opening day. The film received poor reviews from critics and the talk was mixed from the general audiences. These things translated on the box office numbers and ‘Acharya’ managed to mint Rs Rs 35 crore share.

Total share from AP/TS = Rs 29.59 crore.
In Karnataka, ‘Acharya’ grossed Rs 2.4 crore at the ticket counter while the overseas collections are Rs 3.85 crore. The total share on the first day is around Rs 35 crore approximately.
