The title glimpse of Samantha’s upcoming film Yashoda was unveiled the other day. The makers have also announced August 12th as the film’s official release date. Yashoda is being directed by Hari and Harish. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is bankrolling the project.
Meanwhile, Samantha’s ex-husband Naga Chaitanya is all set to take on her at the box office. Bollywood biggie Laal Singh Chaddha is gearing up for a worldwide release on August 11. Directed by Advaith Chandan, this movie features Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.
Naga Chaitanya played an important character in this biggie. As it is Aamir Khan’s film, Laal Singh Chaddha will have a wide release across the country.
This means Samantha will take on Naga Chaitanya indirectly at the box office during the Independence Day weekend this year.
On the other side, Akhil Akkineni is also aiming to release his upcoming film Agent on August 11. If that happens, we will witness an epic clash between Naga Chaitanya, Akhil, and Samantha in the theatres.
