After Mahesh’s Film, Is That A Right Move?

If a film with Mahesh Babu scores a big hit, surely the director will get catapulted into the bigger league of filmmakers in Tollywood. And then, we have the likes of Koratala Siva and others who have done pretty much big movies after working with the Superstar. But then, it looks like director Parasuram who has carved the next week releasing “Sarkaru Vaari Paata” has got his calculation wrong.

Director Parasuram has today clarified in the media interaction that he will be directing Naga Chaitanya after his “Sarkaaru Vaari Paata” with Mahesh releases.

In fact, the director has actually locked a film with Naga Chaitanya much before signing Mahesh’s film, due to a reason. At that time, when Geetha Arts is tackling Mahesh for this movie, the director has no clarity if Mahesh will do the film or not.

During that time, he is said to have signed Chay’s movie pretty hastily. However, Mahesh finally set a new producer team for the project, and SVP was rolled that way.

However, even if Parasuram scores a mega blockbuster with SVP now, all that craze would be translated to the next level if he picks up someone from the Top 5 of Tollywood.

But a film with Chay might not get such attention, though there are chances that he could turn that film into another blockbuster and prove his mettle. Whether a film with Chay is right or wrong move, will be decided only when that film releases.
