The rampage of KGF Chapter:2 is continuing at the box office even after three weeks of its release. Especially, the film’s Hindi version is having a sensational run in North India.
It has now become the second Hindi film to cross Rs. 400 crore-mark at the box office. Baahubali 2 stands in the first position with a lifetime collection of around Rs. 511 crores. Interestingly, both these movies are South Indian dubbed flicks.
The straight Hindi film Dangal is in the third position with lifetime collections of Rs. 387 crores.
KGF 2 crossed Dangal in just three weeks. It needs to collect 100 crores more to surpass the record of Baahubali 2’s Hindi version. We have to see if the film can do it in the coming days.
Due to the release of Hollywood biggie Doctor Strange, the collections of KGF witnessed a dip on Friday. We have to see if the Marvel film can dent KGF 2’s collections in the coming days as well or not.
On the whole, KGF 2 has collected more than Rs. 1100 crores worldwide until now. It is the fourth Indian film, after Baahubali 2, Dangal, and RRR, to cross the 1000-crore mark.
