Doctor Strange not just took over the Box office in the US, but also in India. Doctor Strange was released in India in six languages and it started with collecting hugely.
The Disney/Marvel film started collecting Rs more than 28 crores across all languages in India on May 6th. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness premiered on Thursday and it literally took over many screens that films like Ashokavanamlo failed to get a good number of screens for premieres.
Doctor Strange reportedly collected a massive $36 million from Thursday premieres in the US and is expected to bag more than $190 -$200 Million opening weekend. It is going to be one of the ten best stateside debuts of all time and easily Disney’s best during the pandemic.
The opening day collections were at $90 Million including previews. Overseas collections are at $140 Million to date and global at $229.3 Million.
