‘If Bollywood can’t afford Mahesh Babu, very good’

During the promotions of his production venture, Major, Superstar Mahesh Babu made some interesting comments about debuting in Bollywood. The actor revealed that he has received many offers from Bollywood, but he thinks that they can’t afford him. Mahesh also added that he never thought of going to another industry and he always loves to work in Tollywood. These comments stirred a debate on social media. Popular Bollywood producer Mukesh Bhatt criticized Mahesh over the same.

In his recent interaction with India Today, Mahesh Babu said, “If Bollywood can’t afford Mahesh Babu’s price, then it is very good. I wish him all the best. I respect where he comes from. He has talent and he has an ‘X’ value for the talent that he has generated over the years.”

Mukesh Bhatt also added, “Mahesh is a very successful actor and keeping to his requisite of what he wants to get in terms of gratification of our films, if Bollywood cannot work to his expectations, then there is nothing wrong with it. I wish him all the best. Each one to its own.”

After his comments went viral, Mahesh has given clarity on the same. Mahesh has clarified that he loves cinema and respects all languages. Having said that, Mahesh revealed that he is comfortable doing the films where he has been working.
