Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni has a special fan base in Tamil Nadu as he leads Chennai Super Kings IPL team.
Fondly referred to as ‘Thala’, Dhoni is now planning to further strengthen his connection with Tamil community by turning producer of Tamil films.
As per the latest reports, Dhoni will make his Kollywood entry soon as a producer. If the sources are to be trusted, this movie venture of Dhoni will reportedly star Nayanthara as the leading lady. However, there is no confirmation on the rest of the movie’s cast and crew.
An official announcement about the film will reportedly be made right after the ongoing IPL season.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara has two Tamil movies, and one Telugu movie in her line-up. She is also making her Hindi debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film directed by Atlee.
