Allu Arjun scored a resounding hit with Pushpa: The Rise. Shocking even the trade, the low-key release film was a blockbuster success in the Hindi circuit. The Pushpa mannerisms became a rage. All this resulted in huge hype for Pushpa: The Rule.
Now, even before Pushpa 2 commences the shoot, the film’s pre-release business is creating records. The recent successes of RRR and KGF 2 are also adding to the hype surrounding the Pushpa 2 and its business.
Apparently, the pre-release business of Pushpa 2 is in the range of Rs 700 crores. The makers are looking at huge profits even before the film’s release. The digital streaming rights of Pushpa alone are valued at whopping Rs 300 crores.
The deal has been struck already. The South Indian language theatrical rights are valued at Rs 200 crores. The Hindi language rights are apparently being valued at Rs 200 crores. All things combined, Pushpa 2’s overall rights will fetch Rs 700 crores which is an unprecedented feat for any Telugu hero till now.
Thanks to the wide reach that Pushpa garnered, the second part, Pushpa 2 is seeming to be a lucrative project. Director Sukumar is toiling to deliver a gripping Part 2 given the hype.
It is buzzed that the film may go onto the sets in July if all goes well. Allu Arjun is prepping up for the shoot and is honing his Chittoor slang. Rashmika will be seen as Srivalli in the second part as well. Devi Sri Prasad is working on the tunes.
