Kannada’s Star Actor In Varun Tej’s Next?

Many actors are slowly coming forward to shoot despite the spike of COVID-19 cases. One of them is going to be actor Upendra. This actor is said to be joining the shoot of Varun Tej’s upcoming film.

Yes. Upendra, after a small break, is making his comeback to Tollywood, to play a key role in Varun’s next film which is all about boxing.

Being directed by newcomer Kiran Korrepati, the untitled sports movie is produced by Allu Venkatesh (Bobby) and Sidhu Mudda. Bollywood actress Saiee Manjrekar has been cast as Varun Teja’s lady love.

The film was to release on July 30, 2020, but its shoot was stalled in March after the imposing of lockdown. The makers are now planning to wrap it by December and release it either for Christmas or in early 2021.

Varun has prepped a lot for this film and he worked hard at the gym and shed some kilos as well to get into the shape. He underwent rigorous training to step into the shoes of a boxer. This film is going to be a special one for the actor and a bit different from all the films made in the backdrop of boxing.
