Request To Prashanth Neel: Don’t Bore Audiences

Director Prashanth Neel is the most sought after filmmaker in India right now with KGF: Chapter 2 becoming a super successful commercial film that earned more than RRR at the box office. And then, the director has a superior lineup including that of Prabhas’ Salaar, KGF: Chapter 3 and a film with Jr NTR for the now. But what is worrying his fans is something he should realise too.

While KGF, both the parts, is set in a dark mood and tint with elevation scenes and terrific non-linear screenplay being the major parts of it, going by the making-videos of Salaar that are currently doing rounds everywhere, it looks like even Prabhas’ film is carrying the same feelers. And Jr NTR’ #NTR31 announcement poster proved that even that film will also carry the same tint and texture. That’s what worrying Prashanth Neel’s fans now.

Fans of the super talented director are now requesting him to take care of these aspects as repeating the same dark feel and elevation-shots all the time might not work after a point in time. That’s what happened with many directors like Asutosh Gowariker who made Lagaan and his period films that came later haven’t worked out.

So it’s better Prashanth Neel to not bore the audience with the repeated stuff, and try to deliver something each time like a Rajamouli. Emotional could be the same but setups should change.
