Shekar Release: Court Ruled Out Stay Order

Shekar is one of the recent releases in Telugu. The film features Dr. Rajasekhar in the titular role. After the film was released in theatres, a few objected to the film’s screening and got a stay order from the court to halt the film’s screening. The reason for the same is a financial dispute between the film’s director Jeevitha Rajasekhar and the producers of Garudavega.

However, there is an update on the same now. In one of her recent posts, Shivani Rajasekhar confirmed that the court ruled out the stay order.

“The court ruled out the stay order as an incorrect, tampered, and inadequate case. Yet still, we lost our weekend in the theatres. Our film was stopped just out of spite. As I said before.. I can only hope that Shekar gets its due recognition. We stand by our producers with whatever decision they take regarding the screening of Shekar in the future.” shared Sivani Rajasekhar.

There may be a new development with regards to the film’s re-release. We have to wait for an official confirmation from the producers.
