Thank You Teaser: Chay’s Magic!

The teaser of “Thank You” featuring Naga Chaitanya in the lead is out now, and it entertained a section of the audience. However, those who happen to be hardcore fans of Vikram K Kumar, whose movies like Ishq, Manam and even 24 have created a special impact on the viewers, are saying that they missed the director’s real presence in the teaser.

Apparently, the teaser tells us the story that after playing for the nation, Chay switches to something else and becomes a top-notch businessman. From there he develops huge selfishness and a businessman-like attitude, thus missing out on another lover in his life, played by Raashi Khanna.

And previously he has two girlfriends, played by Malavika Nair and Avika Gor. This whole setup looks like a combination of two films, Maharshi and Premam movies, but where is Vikram K Kumar’s mark here?

Vikram is known for writing complex screenplays and focusing on trivial romantic elements, but the teaser hasn’t shown any such merit. Maybe it’s too early to judge “Thank You” by just watching the teaser, but we fans of Vikram K Kumar are expecting that stupendous magic from him rather than just a mass or class film.
