Naga Babu Testing Luck As Producer Again

Mega brother Naga Babu is not only a noted actor but also a producer too. Naga Babu bankrolled many films in his extensive career like Rudhraveena, Mugguru Monagallu, Trinetrudu, Bavagaru Bagunnara, Gudumba Shankar, Stalin, and Orange.

Some of them were hits and some of them were flops. But the disastrous result of Ram Charan’s Orange pushed Naga Babu into a severe financial crunch. It took him years to recover from the losses incurred with that film.

After Orange, Naga Babu didn’t dare to produce another film. A few years ago, Allu Arjun tried to support Naga Babu by giving him a chance to pool some money in Naa Peru Surya. However, even that film ended up as a flop.

Meanwhile, after a long gap, Naga Babu is venturing into production once again with his son Varun Tej’s film. Varun himself revealed the news in a recent interview.

The Fidaa actor is doing his next film with director Praveen Sattaru. BVSN Prasad is bankrolling the project. Varun stated that his father Naga Babu is also investing in this movie.

Touted to be a big-budget film, this movie will be extensively shot in the USA. It has to be seen if Naga Babu can make a successful comeback as a producer with his son’s film.
