Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is getting ready for a grand release on June 3. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this crime thriller features Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in the other pivotal roles. It is also confirmed that Suriya will be seen in a cameo role in the movie.
According to the sources, Suriya’s character will come in the final minutes of the film. It is heard that his character ends Vikram’s story. Here, Lokesh gave a nice twist.
Apparently, Suriya will begin the story of Khaidi 2 as well. In that way, Lokesh is trying to connect the worlds of Vikram and Khaidi, opined the sources.
It seems that Suriya will be featured in the opening scene of Khaidi. If this news is true, then Lokesh is constructing his own universe in Tamil cinema.
Khaidi is a 2019 crime thriller that featured Karthi in the lead role. Towards the end of that film, Lokesh announced that there will be a sequel to it.
Now, he seems to be using Vikram to build hype for Khaidi’s sequel. Indeed a master plan from the ‘Master’ director.
