Lucifer Remake: Doubts Clouding In Megastar’s Head?

Various rumours are doing rounds regarding the remake of super hit Malayalam film “Lucifer” which created a rage on Amazon Prime Video as well. Though Ram Charan has recently posted a cryptic tweet indicating that none of the rumours regarding Lucifer are true, some insiders revealed that intense discussions are happening about this film right now.

Though Megastar Chiranjeevi has liked the tone and style of this film initially, as he kept traveled with the script, we hear that doubts have clouded his head. This is not regarding Sujith Reddy could handle the film or not, but if audiences will accept this character or not. The story revolves around a hero (Mohanlal in the original) who happens to be a wise man and don, who acts as a political godfather and sets thing right in the state.

Now if Chiranjeevi plays that role of setting the things in the state right by acting as a political godfather, will audiences accept him given his previous political expertise in real life? This doubt is said to be worrying to take this film forward even if shootings resume in a couple of months.

One wonders why Chiru is not considering his motivator Amitabh Bachchan’s personal expertise. Though Bachchan failed to do big in politics he has played the role of Bal Thackeray inspired character in “Sarkar” movie, and people accepted him, isn’t it?
