Happening Tamil Director Faces Rejection From Prabhas?

After watching the trailers of films like Vijay’s Master and Kamal Hassan’s Vikram, surely one would ask twice about the director.

He’s none other than Lokesh Kanagaraj, whose previous film “Khaidi” which has Karthi in the lead did extremely well at the Telugu box office too. And this director wants to do a film with a Telugu star badly now.

Reports are doing rounds that recently Lokesh has approached none other than Baaubali Prabhas and narrated him a script. He’s here in Hyderabad for a week and met Prabhas a couple of times with his script idea and is said to have given a solid narration.

But then, Prabhas is said to have rejected the story for a fact that he needs something that will be larger than life but not some serious action movies that he would have done five years ago, before Baahubali.

Back then, Lokesh’s Master is the story of a lecturer who reforms inmates at a juvenile prison, and his Vikram with Kamal deals with the story of many gangsters and police officers in a city. Though Lokesh is having his next lined up with Vijay, surely he needs some big stories to get Prabhas approval, isn’t it?

Looking at the lineup of films including Adipurush, Project K, Salaar and Spirit, one could understand what sort of scripts actually Prabhas is looking at.
