Major Opened 5x Times Bigger Than Any Sesh’s Film

The film ‘Major’ received positive reviews from the critics while audiences have given huge thumbs up. All these factors have worked very much in favour of the film’s box office collections.

Learning about the numbers, hero Adivi Sesh was thrilled. “Gosh. #MajorTheFilm has opened 5x bigger than any film I’ve ever done. The support of @urstrulyMahesh sir has made it 50 times more celebrated. The spirit of #MajorSandeepUnnikrishnan will make it a 100 times more meaningful,” tweeted Sesh.

As per the latest reports, ‘Major’ has collected a share of Rs 4.10 crore while the gross is just above Rs 6 crore. In the USA, ‘Major’ collected $270,403 (Rs 2.10 crore) from Thursday premiers and on Friday the collections were $207,248 from 328 locations. The film is likely to touch the half-a-million mark once the full details are out.

The Saturday and Sunday bookings are very encouraging in the Telugu states while the Hindi belt collections are yet to be known. But Bollywood critics have also praised ‘Major’ with positive reviews and so the collections are expected to be decent enough.

Overall ‘Major’ made a good start and it will make more going by word of mouth.
