Chiru’s New Plan: Straight Film First, Remakes Next

Megastar Chiranjeevi recently met the audience with the movie Acharya. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film released amidst huge expectations but unfortunately it tanked at the box office. Chiranjeevi received a lot of criticism from all sections of audience for the first time, in a long time. The film’s result pushed Chiru to modify his lineup.

Already, there are many speculations that the Megastar is changing his plans with regards to the upcoming projects. We have a scoop on the same.

If the sources are to be believed, Chiranjeevi wants to prioritise his upcoming film, under the direction of KS Ravinda aka Bobby. Tentatively titled Veerayya, the project is in production already but until now, Chiru didn’t give enough attention to the project.

The other two projects that Chiranjeevi is currently a part of are Godfather and Bhola Shankar. Unfortunately, both of them are remakes. Although it’s a safe bet for Chiru to make a successful comeback with remakes, the actor decided to score a hit only with a straight film.

Already, Chiranjeevi started working on this prestigious project on priority basis. Chiru wants to release this movie first, followed by Godfather and Bhola Shankar.

However, we have to see if Bobby can land Chiru in the successful path.
