Young director Sashi Kiran Tikka made his directorial debut with Goodachari which got him critical acclaim. He followed it up with Major now. He proved that he is not a one-film wonder since Major turned out to be successful. The film is lapped up by critics and audiences alike.
When asked about his future plans, Sashi Kiran is confident of making promising films. “Major has increased the responsibility on me. The film is doing very well in Telugu and Hindi. I will use the fame I got with Major to good effect and try to do more good films. It is nice to see stars like Allu Arjun and Rana appreciate our film,” the young filmmaker said.
Sashi Kiran added that Major is a sincere film and the entire cast and crew worked tirelessly for the film. He said 40% of Major’s shoot was wrapped in 3 months and hadn’t it been for Covid, the film would have released in 2020 itself.
The young director adds that he wishes to make a film with British timeline backdrop and that he intends to make at least 1 film a year. He adds that he has a few rough ideas and drafts for his forthcoming projects.
