Mahima Shares Ordeal Of Her Breast Cancer

Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhry who has been away from the limelight and industry for a while revealed the actual reason that she was battling breast cancer. Interestingly this news was shared on social media by Bollywood actor Anupam Kher. Apparently he approached Mahima for a role in his upcoming movie ‘The Signature’ and got to know about Mahima’s health status which was shocking.

“I called #MahimaChaudhry a month back from US to play a very important role in my 525th film #TheSignature. Our conversation turned to her discovering that she has #BreastCancer. What followed is in this candid conversation between us. Her attitude will give hope to so many women all over the world. She wanted me to be part of her disclosing about it. She calls me an eternal optimist but dearest Mahima! “You are my HERO!” captioned Anupam to the video.

In the video Mahima can be seen in a shocking look as she lost all her hair. It was during an annual health check-up that she got to know about the cancer and immediately underwent the medication. Mahima added that she was not a brave person but found courage to battle the cancer with the help of a boy who was also suffering from cancer.

Mahima broke down while explaining the days of treatment and how her family, especially her mother, was shattered upon learning about breast cancer.

The good news is Mahima has fully recovered and is also shooting for Anupam’s ‘The Signature.’ Mahima is truly a warrior and hope to see her in many more films in future.
