Tirupathi Controversy: Nayanthara Tenders An Apology

Lady Supestar Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivn got married the other day at Mahabalipuram. Right after the wedding, the star couple had been to Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji.

However, their visit to the temple received flak from everyone as it came to everyone’s notice that Nayan was seen doing a photoshoot in the temple premises by wearing slippers, and that is against the rules.

After analyzing the CCTV footage, the temple management has come to a conclusion that Nayanthara broke the rules and they decided to send a legal notice to the actress.

But, Nayanthara met the media today and has tendered an apology for everyone. She and Vignesh claimed that they are a couple who have immense faith in God.

“We have always wanted our marriage to happen in Tirupati but due to logistic reasons the event was not possible and we had to do our wedding in Chennai. To wholesomely complete our wedding we made sure we headed to Tirupati directly from the wedding venue to watch Sami Kalyanam and to receive blessings of Sami Balaji. We had a wonderful darshan and wanted to take a picture outside the temple to have this day in our memory but due to the crowd and chaos we had to exit and re-enter the premises. In the hurry we did not realise our footwear,” the couple said in their apology letter.

On the work front, both of them recently worked for a film called ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’
