The other day we have reported the GHMC had imposed a penalty of Rs 4000 to director Ram Gopal Varma for sticking the posters of his last outing ‘POWERSTAR’ at unauthorised places. But wait, GHMC has put another penalty and this time it is huge.
The Central Enforcement Cell (CEC) of GHMC issued an e-challan to RGV with Rs 88,000 fine. The GHMC has identified that there weren’t just two posters but there were nearly 30 posters in just Jubilee Hills area and all of them had no permission whatsoever.
Having noticed these many posters, GHMC’s CEC penalised RGV. The e-challans were sent to RGV’s offices in Gayatri Hills and Jubilee Hills.
Well, in this incident RGV is to be blamed because he was the one who shared the pictures of posters in his Instagram handle. The netizens who noticed this took this to the attention of GHMC and the rest is history.
