Vijayashanti Makes Serious Remarks On Sai Pallavi

The statements made by Sai Pallavi in a recent interview sparked controversy in Telugu states. Her statements on The Kashmir Files and the beating up of Muslims in Uttar Pradesh irked a few people’s religious sentiments.

Many netizens who were hurt by Pallavi’s statements lashed out at her on social media. Senior actress and popular political leader Vijayashanti also condemned the statements of Pallavi.

She tweeted that Pallavi’s remarks are quite controversial. Vijayashanti said that condemning the killings of sacred cows should not be compared to the Kashmiri genocide. She said that if we think for a second, we realize that both are not the same.

“How can beating up a thief and a mother beating up her son for doing a mistake can be the same? Do you treat the thief and mother in the same way?” questioned Vijayashanti.

She said that if one has no knowledge about the issues, he/she should stay away from commenting on them. She further added that influential people should be careful with their words in today’s world.

“It is also being heard that the people who get financial benefits from Sai Pallavi’s film (Virata Parvam) are trying to sensationalise her statements on The Kashmir Files and make their film get attention,” Vijayshanti further opined.
