Dusshera Brings Back Mega-Nandamuri Clash!

The box-office war between senior star heroes Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna happened many times in the past. A few years ago, both of them clashed at the box office with their respective films, Khaidi No: 150 and Gautamiputra Shatakarni.

If the latest buzz is anything to go by, these stars are set to clash once again this year. According to the grapevine, Chiru’s Godfather and Balayya NBK 107 may hit the screens during Dasara festive season.

Directed by Mohana Raja, Godfather is an official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. Nayanthara, Salman Khan, and Satya Dev are playing the other key roles in it. Apparently, the makers are planning to release the film during the Dasara holidays.

On the flip side, director Gopichand Malineni is also eyeing the same season for his film NBK 107’s release. This untitled project features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The recently released teaser got a terrific response from the viewers.

Balakrishna’s last film Akhanda has become a very big hit at the box office. His new film is carrying a positive buzz and decent expectations too. The trade is also interested in the film. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi, who failed to impress the audience with Acharya, will have to struggle to gain buzz with a remake project on hand.

If at all these two films will clash at the box office, it will be interesting to see which one will end up as the winner.

Whatever it may be, Nandamuri Balakrishna is having an upper hand in this clash, considering his last film’s success.
