When the Tamil industry was in dire need of a big success, Universal Hero Kamal Haasan came to its rescue. With his latest film Vikram, Kamal has been rewriting all the existing records in Tamil cinema. Even though it has been almost a month since it hit the screens, Vikram is still having a sensational theatrical run.
Vikram is doing wonders not only in the domestic market but in the international arena as well. According to the trade reports, it is the highest-grossing Kollywood film in the UK, UAE, and Singapore regions.
Vikram also happens to be the highest-grossing Tamil film in Kerala. Ultimately, it also has the highest gross and highest share for any film in Tamil Nadu.
These are breathtaking achievements by the movie and we have to see how many records it will break in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Vikram is gearing up for its OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 8. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this action thriller features Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in the other pivotal roles.
