With the advent of social media, it’s difficult to distinguish between what is true news and what is false news. With everyone spending more time on Facebook and Twitter, it doesn’t take long for anything related to movies to go viral.
Meanwhile, before the release of Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavaasi, the netizens made a lot of noise saying that it was a copy of the French movie Largo Winch. This news went on till the release. The director of Largo Winch also responded to the same, in a dissatisfying tone.
Cut to the present, Vijay’s Telugu debut is facing similar allegations. Being helmed by Vamsi Paidipalli, Vijay’s next film titled Varasu (Vaarasudu in Telugu) is also said to have the same storyline as Largo Winch. Many memes are doing the rounds on social media regarding the same. As per the memes, Vijay’s film is based on the book “Largo Winch”. A billionaire gets killed in a mysterious way. The company members are getting to know about the secret son (Varisu) & the Villain groups too get to know about this. So the clash, twists & emotions will carry the film.
As we know, the same is the main point in Largo Winch and even Agnyathavaasi also. The other interesting news is that director Jerome Salle, of Largo Winch fame, came across the same and quoted the particular meme writing, “Largo Winch III ?”
However, there is no update from the makers of the film and we have to wait and see at least till the trailer launch to know whether this rumor is true or false.
Being Bankrolled by Dill Raju, the movie has Rashmika Mandanna in the lead actress role.
