Buzz: Pankaj Tripathi to play Atal Bihari Vajpayee?

A few days ago, Bollywood producer Vinod Bhanushali announced the biopic of former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Titled Atal, this film traces the journey of Vajpayee right from his childhood to his illustrious political career.

It was stated that the film will hit the floors in early 2023. It will be an adaptation of the book, “The Untold Vajpayee: Politician and Paradox,” written by Ullekh N P. It was also said that the film will be released during Christmas 2023, on the 99th birth anniversary of Vajpayee.

According to the latest grapevine in B-Town, veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi will essay the role of Vajpayee in this movie.

Pankaj is a supremely talented actor who proved his mettle in films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Stree, Ludo, Gunjan Saxena, and Mimi.

However, there is no official update about this news yet. We have to wait for the makers to make an official announcement regarding the cast and crew.
