The clash of movies at the box office and the adjustment of release dates is a big thing in the film industry. Many big heads get involved about which movie should hit the screen every single Friday. A hero’s hasty announcement seems to have pushed his producer into a fix now.

Hero Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 was set to release on the 22nd day of this month and the team managed to put everything in place for the same. But the star of the movie Nikhil announced on social media that it is not coming to theaters on the planned date but in August first week.

The BTS of this is heard to be the star producer Dil Raju’s attempt to get his Thank You solo release. Dil Raju is heard to have asked Karthikeya 2 producer to push its release date to August first week. But Kalyan Ram has already decided to release his Bimbisara on that date and is reluctant to move from that date. While the producer of Karthikeya 2 is still contemplating fixing his date for July 22 itself, Nikhil’s announcement on social media is said to have left him in a jam.

With no official announcement about a concrete release date, the distributors have started renegotiating the price sighting July 22 as the best release date.

Karthikeya 2 was reportedly made with a whopping 30cr budget and the movie garnered good buzz with the intriguing trailer. It has to be seen which date Karthikeya 2 zeroes in on for the outing.
