Sushant’s Case: Centre Agrees For CBI Probe

In a surprising twist of sorts, the Government of India has accepted the plea by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to probe actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death mystery through Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI).

Today, Union Of India’s law officer have notified to Supreme Court, which is already hearing a plea of Rhea Chakraborty to transfer the case on her from Bihar to Mumbai, that Centre has agreed to probe the case through CBI. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta confirmed to Court that a notification will be released by the end of the day (Wednesday) regarding CBI inquiry into Sushant’s death.

With Centre confirming about CBI probe, Supreme Court has now asked all the parties including Rhea Chakraborthy, Sushant’s father KK Singh and Mumbai Police as well as Maharashtra Govt to file their responses in three days. Also, SC asked the Mumbai Police to update the Court about the status of the investigation.
