Creating controversy and sensation during the time of a movie’s release became a normal thing for many filmmakers these days. But at what expense they do these feats is something we have to really worry about.
Especially a once celebrated producer like MS Raju making sensational comments to promote his film, and now speaking something else is a disturbing thing.
After turning a director, MS Raju is busy making some small budgeted films and he has come up with ‘7 Days 6 Nights’ movie recently. During the promotions of this film he stated that he won’t be working with either Mahesh or Prabhas again even if they ask him to make a film. He has earlier produced Okkadu and Varsham with those stars. These comments had hurt the fans of those stars.
However, Raju is recently posting some vintage pictures that were shot on the sets of those vintage films. Other day, sharing a pooja ceremony picture of Okkadu, Raju tweeted, “March 14th 2002 Superstar Mahesh Babu’s blockbuster Okkadu puja opening at my hyd office … same time Gunasekhar garu started shooting at Araku valley…after pooja myself & babu went to Airport to join shoot for the historic chase” (sic).
Guess what, this tweet looks like the producer-director is trying to make some amendments to the bitter comments he made earlier. Why rake up unwanted controversy to promote a film, and why make amendments now? Let films run on the merit of the content Raju garu!
