Liger Trailer: Action-Packed!

Arjun Reddy was a game changer for Vijay Deverakonda and he is all set for his Bollywood debut with Puri Jagan’s Liger. Jagan who is a specialist in making pakka mass and commercial entertainers has returned to his forte. Megastar Chiranjeevi and Rebel Star Prabhas did the honours of releasing the film’s trailer.

Going by the trailer, Liger is the journey of a Slumdog who struggles hard, despite many humiliations in life for his stammer issue and poor living, to make his country proud. “Oka Lion ki Tiger ki Puttindaadu… Crossbreed sir Naa Bidda… (My son is a crossbreed born to a lion and a tiger),” says Ramya Krishna which authenticates the title.

With more action, less yet impactful dialogues and stirring BGM, what we witness on screen is a tour de force. The love track is trendy with a twist. Then comes the real force with the stylish entry of Mike Tyson. When Vijay says, “I’m a fighter,” then comes the strong response from Mike, “If you’re a Fighter, what am I.”

It’s a no holds-barred action and Vijay seems to have breathed life into his role, thanks to Puri’s convincing way of story-telling. Vijay Deverakonda underwent a complete makeover to play an MMA Fighter and he nailed with his impeccable show. Ananya Pandey looks glamorous. Ramya Krishna is at her usual best as Vijay’s mother and Ronit Roy is cool as coach.

Camera work and background score are valuable addition to the making of the movie. Production values are rich. Karan Johar along with Puri and Charmme are producing the. The film is all set to hit the theatres on Aug 25, 2022. Let’s wait and see, what is in store for Vijay’s Hindi debut.
