Chiru Reveals Why He Picked Salman Over Aamir For Godfather

Chiranjeevi and Aamir Khan share a special bond and they had been friends for a long time. Chiru also is a great friend of Salman Khan too. Aamir Khan wanted CHiru to present his film Lal Singh Chaddha in Telugu and the latter obliged it. In the promotions event, Aamir Khan asked why Chiranjeevi had to pick Salman Khan for a role in Godfather and why not him?

It is already known that Salman Khan is acting in a brief yet crucial role in Chiru’s Godfather movie. Aamir Khan tried to pull Chiru’s leg as he says, ‘You see I was telling Chiranjeevi Garu that please allow me to do something for you’ to which Chiru said, ‘I will call you.’ And only two days later he told Aamir Khan that he was shooting with Salman Khan. Aamir asked Chiru why he did not call him, but Salman.

Chiru was quick to reply and said, ‘It is not acting with a brain or heart, but it is physically. That is why we opted for Salman’. While the Megastar wanted to praise Aamir Khan for putting his heart and brain into the acting and the films he does, he seems to have done a little damage to Salman Khan’s image with the same statement.

Chiru’s intention was to tell that Aamir Khan is needed or known for the roles that are more emotional and heartfelt, while Salman Khan is more on the side of physicality with roles that needed to flex a muscle.
