Like we said already, director Sarath Mandava of “Ramarao On Duty” fame has unnecessarily stirred the hornet’s nest by commenting that people should watch their film directly to decide about it rather than reading the ‘scrap tweets’ on Twitter. No matter what he clarified later, Twitterati are ready to nail him after looking at the result of the movie.
All said and done, Ramarao On Duty is a boring film that gives neither hopes about any character nor keeps you hooked with the proceedings.
After watching the first half of the film itself, Telugu film lovers started tweeting about the movie and most of their tweets are actually a single point advice to the director. Most of them posted, “Dear director! Focus on the narrative of the film rather than blasting tweets and Twitter users for putting up their feelings on the micro-blogging site”.
Also the director has etched no other role than Raviteja and Venu Thottempudi’s roles in a perfect manner. Both the heroines Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan do nothing for the story, while the former’s role is just like that for the sake of a song and Raviteja kissing on her lips.
Similarly Rajisha’s role is to get into the story and to sing a song opposite Raviteja, but nothing else. Looking at the output, one wonders if all those rumours of Raviteja asking for multiple reshoots are quite true.
