Pandemic has changed the dynamics of film trade. Audience are coming to theaters only for star films and for medium and small heroes, they are coming only if the content is really good and exciting.
If the situation continues, we may see producers hesitating to put their money on small and medium range heroes.
At the same time, some one like Dulquer Salmaan is trying to expand his wings in tollywood. Dulquer has good demand for the non-theatrical rights of his films. The market he has in other languages can be a big incentive for the filmmakers. All that he has to make some good choices and score a hit or two.
Sita Ramam is one such a big opportunity for Dulquer. He is coming with a talented director like Hanu and a minimum-guarantee production house like Swapna Cinema. If he can deliver on August 5th with Sita Ramam, he will definitely get more offers from Tollywood.
