If Hero Calls At 3am, You Have To Go, Or You’re Out: Mallika

‘If a hero calls you to come at 3 am and you don’t go to his house, you are out of that film’, says Mallika Sherawat as she reveals the shocking ugly side of Bollywood. Many actors in the film industry agree that the casting couch exists, but it is where you choose to be. Mallika Sherawat spoke about many such things in her recent interview with Hindustan Times.

Mallika Sherawat shot to sudden fame with her bold role in Murder movie, which was a sensation back then. Mallika recently said she did what Deepika Padukone did in Gehraiyaan, but 15 years ago.

In her latest interview, Mallika Sherawat revealed that all the A-lister heroes refused to work with her because she would not compromise. Mallika said the heroes like actresses who they can control and who will compromise with them. When asked what she meant by compromise, she clarifies, ‘Sit, stand, anything. If the hero calls you at 3 am and says, ‘Come to my house, you have to go, if you are in that circle and if you are doing that film. If you don’t go, then you are out of that film.’

Mallika Sherawat says she tried to do her best and tried to find good roles. She also admits she made some mistakes. But as an actor, she says her journey has been fantastic. Mallika Sherawat said she got to do Murder, and a film with International actors like Jackie Chan and met the then US President Barack Obama twice.
