Apparently, this week is pretty different for the Telugu film industry as none is going for the shoots and almost all the big stars and happening stars are sitting at home and catching up with the promotions of two movies, Bimbisara and Sitaramam. And the Tollywood bandh is to find out various ways to save this industry as audiences are not coming ot theatres and producers are not making money in the end.
Guess what, ever since Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara got a terrific talk in mass centers, while Sitaramam registered fulls in class centres, Tollywood has literally laughed and danced happily after a long time. But then, Dil Raju and Co, who happen to be the members of the Active Producers Guild and Film Chamber are getting brutally trolled by folks on social media. They say that these producers should make films, not for the sake of combinations or hero’s dates, but only if they have proper content.
Now that Bimbisara and Sitaramam clicked, it is once again proved that either the content should be great or the narrative should be extremely engaging with beautiful visuals. With some of the recent films inducing headaches to audiences with routine masala content in his OTT era, surely Tollywood received a shock of life. And now that these films worked out, maybe the top producers should realise what is actually happening to the industry.
