After two months of a clear lull at the Telugu box office, finally, Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara is making huge noise at the B&C centers as the film received positive word of mouth right from the first show. At this juncture, it is now coming out that actually this film belongs to the hero Raviteja but things turned otherwise.
Back in the day, Raviteja is known for rejecting films like Pokiri, Pataas as well as Oosaravelli (also this film was narrated to Ram too), and many films he has given up have become blockbusters in the end.
Reports are coming that director Vasishta has first narrated this story to Raviteja, but the mass hero hasn’t liked it as he felt that doing a role with negative shades might affect his career big time. At the same time, he is also worried about how a newcomer director will handle the vast visual effects episodes of the film.
After Raviteja rejected it, the director is said to have met Kalyanram and with confidence that his own company could handle all the visual effects, and also the role of Bimbisara quite interesting, the hero is said to have given a go for the movie. Looks like Kalyanram’s confidence in the script and the director has worked out now.
